Electric step mounting profiles

 

Mounting protection profile that prevents unintentional warping of the electric step during installation.

 

These protective rails are placed on the retaining bolts of the step from the side and pushed over them with a small hammer blow.

It is not necessary to dismantle the step and the profiles can be retrofitted at any time.

The 72 mm long mounting protection profiles come as a set of four and are made of high-strength ABS. They prevent the two aluminum strips of the step from warping during installation due to uneven tightening of the screws, causing the step to come under uneven tension and thus warp.

A distorted step is one of the three reasons that lead to the original plastic gear rack breaking later on.

We recommend using this mounting protection profile set when replacing the defective gear rack in order to tension the step as evenly as possible with the retaining screws when reinstalling.
