Bathroom siphon

 

 

Siphon for the bathroom, so that the odors from the grey water tank are also stopped here.

There are three model variants available for the Ahorn Camp Motorhome models that have the silver, semicircular washbasin in the bathroom (approx. year of manufacture 2016-2022).
From left to right:

   

• Long model: ideal if the hose from Ahorn was rather short
• Loop model: ideal if the hose needs to be connected as close as possible to the original position
• Compact model: space-saving variant that lies between the long and loop model
  
  The siphon is placed over the drain connection on the washbasin, instead of the hose and fixed in place with a clamp. However, you must be careful NOT to twist this spigot and the counterpart in the sink, as this is originally also inserted with silicone. 
  If the siphon does not fit easily over the spigot, please sand it down a little with coarse sandpaper.

At the other end, the hose (do not shorten!) is placed over the outlet and can also be sealed with one or two turns of Teflon tape if you wish. Then secure the end with the hose with a clamp.
For winter storage, you can also blow through the sink briefly with your mouth or fill it with a sip of antifreeze.
ATTENTION: Please measure the outlet nozzle of the sink over which the hose is pushed. This should be 30-32 mm so that it fits.
