Roof Puddle Extractor (RPE2.0)

 

 

Set for draining the water that collects on the roof behind the alcove/hump in the Ahorn motorhomes.

RPE 2.0 = Roof Puddle Extractor, Version 2.0 
Consists of a set of 2 pieces (le & ri).
Version 2.0 is slightly smaller and narrower than the first and has a small nose that allows the drop to fall a little further from the motorhome. Due to its size, it is slightly less “thirsty” than version 1.0
It takes approx. 3 minutes for the capillary force to drain the water, so a little longer than with the #RPE1 1.0, but now with a sliding lid. 
This lid makes it easier and quicker to change the sponge cloth every year.

Application/sponge cloth change:
You can now simply push the sponge cloth strip through the tunnel onto the roof using a flat screwdriver - or a folding rule.
Remove the cover cap and use the folding rule to push the wide end through towards the roof.
Then also use the folding rule to push the nose in the direction of the drip opening and carefully take it from there with tweezers and pull it out. If necessary, tighten a little more on the roof. Replace the cover cap and press it firmly into the groove on the sides.

Dampen the sponge cloth, wring it out and cut to size.
