This gear s subject to strong shearing forces. Design errors and some points that must be observed during installation. will sooner or later lead to this gear breaking/tearing as it cannot withstand the shear forces.
We offer a replacement gear made of stainless steel to solve this problem once and for all.
The original plastic gear varies between 13 - 46,-€ - if really available, so this unbreakable stainless steel version is a fair bargain.
We will not be able to uphold this low price after the first batch is sold out and have to increase then.
In addition, we also offer a set of sleeves to prevent the uneven tightening of the bolts, during installation, which can lead to uneven loading of the step mechanism.
