Roof Puddle Extractor (RPE2.0)
Consists of a set of 2 pieces (left & right), but can also be ordered individually. Please note that if you only use one DPS, any puddle that has not been sucked up on the left side overnight may shift to the right when you leave the motorhome due to the weight shift, which can lead to the familiar whiplash effect.
Version 2.0 is slightly smaller and narrower than the first version and has a small nose that allows the drops to fall a little further away from the motorhome. Due to its size, it is slightly less “thirsty” than version 1.0.
It takes about 3 minutes for the water to drip off due to capillary action, which is slightly longer than with #DPS 1.0, but now it has a SLIDING COVER.
This cover makes it easier and quicker to change the sponge cloth annually.
Application/sponge cloth replacement:
You can now simply use a flat screwdriver or a folding ruler to push the sponge cloth strip through the tunnel onto the roof. The video shows the dripping speed in real time.
Remove the cover cap and use the folding rule to push the wide end towards the roof.
Then use the folding rule to push the nose towards the drip opening and carefully pick it up with tweezers and pull it out. If necessary, pull it a little further on the roof. Put the cover cap back on and press it firmly into the groove on the sides.

Moisten the sponge cloth, wring it out, and cut it to size.
