After several prototypes in terms of design and the printing materials used, the first sink siphons for kitchen sink drains are now ready.
18 hours printing time, 200 g weight, 4 mm thick material in solid print, with fused threaded sleeve.
These are intended for Canada/Alaska models built between 2016 and 2022 that have drawers in the L-shaped kitchen unit under the sink. We cannot comment on what the sinks in the kitchen units of other and subsequent models might look like.
If you are interested but don't know whether it will fit your motorhome, simply order it and attach it (do not assemble it completely). If it does not fit, return it at your own expense. The purchase price will then be refunded.
Thanks to their flat design, the siphons fit under the sink without obstructing the drawer. There is always a small amount of water in the siphon tunnel, which acts as an odor barrier against the smell from the gray water tank.
The drain diameter is also more than 5 times larger than the original drain. The comparison in one of the pictures clearly shows why the water only drains in extreme slow motion with the original drain. With our siphon, there is even a nice whirl.
The siphon is inserted from below using the original black rubber seal. Again, do not shorten the original hoses so that dismantling remains possible.
Our siphon has now been in continuous use for over 2 years.
