A seal made of horsehide is originally used in the manual swivel pumps in the garden for manually pumping groundwater. However, this loses its tightness after just one season and must be replaced annually.

Our seal is a replica of the original leather seal and is made of hard rubber. This usually lasts for several years and only wears out slightly.
